I am currently doing that thing where you've just finished a wonderful book and you are now trying to push it desperately into the hands of everyone you know. Anyone who says to you "oh, I've just finished reading something" is not safe from your eyeline! THEY MUST READ WHAT YOU DID! So now this is me, virtually pointing you all to 'The List of Suspicious Things' by the wonderful @jennie.godfrey. I can say a lot about this book, but in short I was walking around a bookshop yesterday and quite melodramatically said 'I just want to read my book all over again'. It was a delight. The kind of book where you fall in love with the community of characters so deeply; I wanted to clutch Miv's hand so tightly and wrap her in cotton wool all at once; my maternal instincts kicking in for this glorious fictional being. It handled both the darkness and light of life so delicately, making you wonder if much has changed at all in the last thirty years and also making you realise the brilliance of humans, and the importance of a kind well-intentioned heart simultaneously. A book where fear and joy walk very closely side by side (which, I suppose, is life) and the kind of book that you want to read again and again. What a delight; I'm going to miss this train/bed/walking along the tube platform/bath companion greatly.

The Glastonbury of gardeners, the Coachella of compost (not quite, but humour me)- almost the same amount of wellies, just with more linen (and white trousers ). Yesterday I went to the @the_rhs Chelseas Flower Show with @boden and as ever it was magic. Having visited for the first time two years ago, I spent most of the day gawping and saying ‘IT’S JUST LIKE IT IS ON THE BBC!’ (with a spot of HRH Mary Berry, too)! The amount of inspiration to be potted up was truly cup filling- and I’ve now got a garden wish list as long as my arms (mainly a glasshouse, filled with terracotta pots, thriving seedlings and geraniums- a girl can dream)! I’m also now aiming for more than two individual daffodils next spring thanks to this heavenly display- Chelsea, I have been truly inspired. Here’s to my Monty summer… 🪴💐 (ad/press invite)

Last year I picked up this white dress from @nexto

Last year I picked up this white dress from @nextofficial and lo and behold it quickly became one of *the* most worn pieces I have. From spring with cardigans, to autumn with a barn jacket and knit over the top- this dress has worked incredibly hard and requires very little imagination for a selection of very lovely easy outfits (which I thought I'd share)! I'll also link some similar ones I've spotted on stories (as there's a few popping up)!

Red shoes, white dress! Is it a Lana Del Rey song? Nope, it's just my boyfriend narrating some extended awkwardness of a favourite outfit from this week. We saw @annacascarina's video of her husband narrating and enjoyed it so much I employed @whyyouasking for some commentary. (Thank you @annacascarina!!) I'd normally cut out all of the *serious faces* and bits but hey, here you go! The unedited shebang. It's giving 'she's going to Clapham!'
