On the eighth day of Giftmas... it's buying for dad!

Although there's no Alan Partridge this year- I've selected a few bits for dads out there (without any gardening kits or handkerchiefs) in hope you might find something you haven't seen before (bar the tartan PJS, ahem)!

(Book: Where Chefs Eat, CD: Sing Street (and DVD), Skincare: Liz Earle, Fragrance: L'Occitane, Hair Products: Johnny Sheen, PJS: Next)

Without tapping into too many cliches, dads can be pretty hard to buy for! Fortunately my dad's a bit of a skin/hair/face care maven, which makes treating him to some new pamper bits pretty simple indeed. But in case your dad isn't one for a new face wash or hair product- I've also picked out a book I know any foodies will love to get their teeth into (especially for any holidays), the soundtrack to one of my dads favourite films this year (for any music lovers, Sing Street is amazing) and a fail safe fragrance from L'Occitane. Plus, although I tried to resist any Christmas cliches- there's something wonderful about unwrapping some new cosy PJs on Christmas day right? So I'll pop these ones from Next in too!

Check out last years papa picks for more ideas, and come back tomorrow for day 9!

  3. Dad's are the most difficult to buy for! I usually just go for a movie pass or some food gift card! :)
