To me, Jack Wills sums up quintessential British style- and nope, I'm not simply talking preppy polos and crisp Oxford shirts (although you'd be right in thinking they do do these things very well too). As well as ticking off girlie blouses, pretty Chung-style pinafores and ultimate smock dresses (just check out their selection if you don't believe me)- Jack Wills are also pretty expert in the denim department too- bet you didn't see that one coming! Some of my favourite wardrobe pieces are from a certain J.W, and it's not just their knitwear that ticks the boxes of longevity, comfort and 'most worn in wardrobe awards' now...

So, with a week of activities on the go, I incorporated some of Jack's finest denim styles into my wardrobe (as well as some of their other covetable seasonal picks) to give them a true run for their money...

The lunch date...

Oh transitional weather, how you confuse me... But how you give me the option to pull out some winter favourites early too, makes me love you a little bit too. Taking out the Fernham skinnies with a pretty gingham tee and shearling jacket of dreams- Joe and I made our excuses for an early lunch at my favourite Covent Garden hideout (and with a jacket this cosy, it's totally acceptable to eat al-fresco, right?)...

(Jacket: Coming Soon, Top: Here, Cardigan: Here, Jeans: Here, Boots: Here, Bag: Here)

The gallery go-er...

Gallery rule No.1: Always dress like you're in a Wes Anderson movie when visiting exhibitions. Obviously I'm only partly joking here, but when a pastel duffle comes out to play (and especially one this cosy) it's obviously totally necessary to wear it paired with a favourite knitted cardie, classic blue denim and school satchel, correct? Francoise Hardy soundtrack totally optional for browsing, though.

The happy shopper...

One of Jack Wills' ultimate signatures is the little cropped blazer. I've always been a little dubious of wearing a blazer with anything other than suit trousers (call me conservative, or a little scared of a Top Gear host inspired look), but loved dressing it down with some pale denim and a relaxed PJ style shirt to take things to the Alexa-level (because when in doubt, go Chung)...

(Jacket: Here, Top: Here, Jeans: Here, Boots: Here)

The walk in the park...

Possibly one of my favourite looks out of all of the styling jobs, my day-to-day look is often in the shape of a marl sweater and denim- so this definitely ticked my boxes. With the wool bomber jacket giving things more of a 'together' modern feel (with a cute modish edge)- it felt perfect from anything from taking Maggie for a walk to heading for a coffee with friends- certainly my kind of go-to...

Post in collaboration with Jack Wills, but love for all things Wills totes my own, gorgeous photographs care of Amber-Rose Photography

  13. Oh the shearling biker jacket in those first pictures looks so cool on you! I've actually strayed away from my leather biker, in fear of looking to boyish/Grease/90s, but those pictures make me want to try and wear it more..
A blogger to blogger compliment: I love how you make sponsored posts sound so natural on not at all commercial. A very useful skill to have these days ;)
