(Dress: Beyond Retro, Bag: Beyond Retro, Shoes: Next, Ring: Bill Skinner (10% of profits from this gorgeous little Westie ring go to Dogs Trust too- huzzah!) , Sunglasses: Taylor Morris)

If there are three things that make for a lovely Saturday it's a combination of pancakes, girlie chats and a spot of shopping. So, when me and my lovely friend Sarah spent a morning a few weeks ago doing just that, I was a suitably happy cat. Following chats of Paul Hollywood, house prices (obligatory if you're in London I'm sure) and plenty of catch ups- we hot footed it along a bustling Brick Lane, stopping for a nosey in some of the gorgeous independent shops and of course a visit to Beyond Retro...

Now, perhaps it's the Reformation style wrap that had me at hello, or it's floaty Florence-Welch inspired sleeves- but upon spotting this little number over at my favourite vintage hideout, I near enough raced to the changing rooms and barely blinked when I realised as well as being pretty special it fitted too! Perfect for a day exploring London (or equally appropriate for more formal events too)- this midi is now certainly a go to of mine, and definitely proves that with vintage, patience is a virtue- but obviously pancakes help too ; )

  27. gorgeous dress! you look so stunning and it's such a nice find. I have never been fortunate in charity shops and what not and usually just go in them for books but I think that's due to the area I live in. https://lyfestylewithlauren.wordpress.com/
