(Dress: Reformation, Hat: Reformation, Shoes: ASOS)

One of the perks of staying at a hotel in the Lower East Side (ignoring the fact there's tonnes of amazing bars, independent retailers, awesome places to eat and the fact it's a stones throw away from Brooklyn)- was probably being sat opposite to one of the most famous deli's in the city. Pastrami on my door-step? Why, thank you. Although I haven't seen 'When Harry Met Sally' (this little hideout makes a famous appearance), Katz was one of the places massively recommended to me for our visit- so being so close was pretty cool (plus, made for a pretty cool photo backdrop, amirite)? We snapped these photos just before we jetted back off to the UK, and fortunately left the grey skies behind- hoorah for British Summer!

Now, in my opinion, most New York trips wouldn't be complete without a visit to Reformation, haven of all things sustainable, environmentally friendly and bloody gorgeous at that too (all of their pieces are made in an eco-friendly L.A factory, with fair labour and designs created from deadstock and vintage fabrics and a huge focus on everything keeping the environment happy). After spotting their pieces on the likes of a certain Ms. Chung and Swifty- it's safe to say I became a fully fledged convert, saving my pennies for pieces as and when I could. Although a little pricier, knowing the pieces are made with such a lot of care (as well as being timeless, wear again-and-again items) I found it very difficult to leave their New York store empty handed- and picked up this gorgeous backless number (perfect for running around town in, biker and all)- and this hat, which is now a front-running favourite in my growing collection- I mean, can you blame a girl?
