Do you ever pick something up, out of impulse, complete unadulterated NEED and then leave it to sit in your bottom drawer for the next twelve months completely forgotten about and a little unloved (~plays tiny violin~)? Well that's what happened to this shirt- possibly, and ironically, one of the coolest things I've ever picked up- and something I thought I'd be set on wearing every day for the 365 following purchase...

...However, after skipping out of J-Crew with this macaron, baguette and Eiffel Tower laden blouse this exact time last year (and possibly boring everyone's ears off talking about THAT PRINT)- it was only a couple of weeks ago I pulled the tags off (even though, y'know, it was probably past it's return or exchange 30 days) to wear it for the first time. Perhaps it was something to do with the fact it was a size or two too big, the fact I'm not great at styling 'the basics'- or perhaps I was waiting for the 'perfect time' to wear it- and if that was the case, then this probably wins, amirite?

  12. I've definitely left tags on things for that long before! But then the funny thing is, once you take the tags off and wear it one time, you start to wear it all the time!

  41. I do exactly the same thing- I become obsessed with an outfit, buy it and then realise I have nowhere to wear it for ages and get really down about it! This shirt is so quirky it'll last for ages though, and the bonus now is that you'll be the only one wearing it. THATS blogger inspo! xx
