Bobbi Brown Smokey Nudes
I'll let you in to a secret- I've literally been wearing the same make up look since I was 16. I've never braved anything other than a cat-eye and red lip (on my more maverick days) and at most adventurous, I've occasionally paired the above with a little eye shadow. Ironically, I've probably wasted a lot of hours watching endless make up tutorials on Youtube, yearning to perfect the Burr-smokey eye in attempt to look half as smouldering as a certain Cheryl. Alas, when Bobbi Brown got in touch with their new Smokey Nudes collection I was a little apprehensive. I adore looking at beautiful eyeshadows on John Lewis counters (usually until my hand becomes a beautifully bruised looking mess), but I've never been brave enough to translate those dusty colours into something wearable on my peepers...

... but I did it! With no security of my staple liquid liner this little compact bad boy helped me master that look, and guess what- it wasn't as scary as I thought- and I wore it during the day. So, in attempt to be a little creative I filmed a wee Youtube video of me doing the look, in case any of you lovely people are as scared of the smokey look as I was. I'm certainly no make-up guru (oh really?) but being able to create a beautiful day to night look with one product alone was pretty nifty- and I'd argue that I'm one step closer to that Chezza look...

  4. I'm personally a bit terrified to attempt a smokey eye, but I'm quite tempted to try now that you've done such a good job without a bunch of experience! I'm in love with Bobbi Brown makeup, the little eyeshadow compact is going on my christmas list!
