As much as I'm very accustomed to a Sunday morning lie-in, Sunday Brunch blaring on the t.v and French toast sizzling in a pan (if I'm not feeling too lazy)- it's mornings spent walking along a crisp (understatement of the year) London Bridge, prior to a 13 mile cycle across the capital (let's just say, we took a slightly altered route for, ahem, convenience purposes)- that really make London worth getting up for, all in aid of The Wool Ride. Although it's safe to say I'm not the world most confident cyclist (Wiggins, you can wipe the sweat from your brow buddy)- it was pretty exhilarating seeing the capitals beauty spots whilst on the road with good company (read: some of my main ladies; Carrie, Lucy, Dunya and Kristabel), and all in aid of a pretty cool cause at that too...

The reason we were all attempting to hit the road in our wooly finest, was in aid of Wool Week- in which Barbour (who kindly kitted us out in our fleecy finest), among another brands and retailers, are aiming to raise awareness of the ethicality, benefits and renewability of the fabric and it's use in the industry- and as you guys know, I'm all for some green in my wardrobe- which definitely makes it a Sunday well spent.

  43. I love your coat! Oh gosh, I haven't gone on a bike ride in so long! I wanted to buy a new bike for college (I'm not about to haul the one I have between continents haha), but my college is very hill-y (its English translation literally means Big Hill), so a bike wouldn't help very much, though I do miss biking a lot!! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
