Living in a city of so much choice, it's sometimes hard to know exactly how to spend the weekend (the ultimate anti-problem problem, I know), without resorting to that hot new series on Netflix, after becoming confused with the endless amount of pop ups and hip places to eat- amirite? Okay, maybe that's a sliiiight exaggeration, but either way- I've put together a teeny guide of three ways I love to spend a girlie weekend in London- and hey, if this goes down a treat I'll do a few more (thinking brunch/vintage shopping/hotels/pretty parks- the whole shebang)- just let me know if that tickles your fancy! Anyway- let's get this started!

Marriott London Hotel Girlie Night Out Marriott London Hotel Girlie Night Out Marriott London Hotel Girlie Night Out Marriott London Hotel Girlie Night Out Marriott London Hotel Girlie Night Out Get somewhere lovely to stay!

Staying in Marriott's Grosvenor Square hotel certainly proved to me that stay-cations can be just as fun as a weekend away, and spending a couple of days rediscovering my favourite London hang-outs without having to make the journey home was certainly a welcome bonus. In my opinion, if a hotel has slippers, dressing gowns and a chef that is on hand making pancakes for breakfast- then my goodness, it's got to be a blooming good one. With Marriott having a selection of beautiful hotels across the city (and at an array of budgets), you'll be sure to find somewhere plush to spend the evening (and maybe have some cosy slippers to pop on too- plus, did I mention the L'Occtaine in the rooms? Oh yes...)

Check out the hotels here!

Lush Hard Days Night Treatment Lush Hard Days Night Treatment Have some pamper time!

Okay, I'll admit it- I've never had a massage. Well, I hadn't until I popped into the Lush Spa on Kings Road for the 'Hard Days Night' treatment recently (fear not, there's several spas across the country for anyone who isn't a Londoner) and was completely blown away that I booked my mum an appointment the moment after stepping out. Yup, it's that good. The only downside is that it'll make any other massage seem super boring- but it's worth it. If you like The Beatles, Jammie Dodgers and cosy pyjamas- this one's for you (but they do have some other ones too, in case you're not that way inclined).

Hit up a spa here!

Cheeky Parlour Cheeky Parlour Cheeky Parlour See to those talons!

Love getting your nails done but find the whole thing a little dull? Cheeky got you covered! Not only is this place a nail bar heaven in the heart of East London but these guys are home to a blow-dry, make up bar and cafe too- all day brunch and pamper sessions? Don't mind if I do! Plus, they have an awesome range of products (we're talking everything from face to feet here)- and a visit gives you the perfect excuse to use the word cheeky in excess, as, let's face it- it's a bloody excellent word (and, y'know- it's a cool place).

See to those fingers here!

  5. I've always, always wanted to go on a trip to London with my girlfriends for a few days, stay in a lovely hotel and pamper to the max! I know so many people in London though that I've never actually had the experience of going all out and staying somewhere really nice. This post has reminded me that it's on my Summer bucket list though and I suddenly feel like arranging something right now!
