For as long as I can remember I've wanted to visit Ireland - my mum has always spoken about how much she'd love to go too, but it wasn't until last month that I actually managed to tick it off of my list with a little help from ASOS and their new campaign with Tourism Ireland. Ladies and gents- don't get me wrong, I'm no Guinness drinker, and the accent certainly wasn't the only reason I was excited to visit- but after hearing about some of the amazing places on the agenda (from upcoming foodie hide-outs to historical landmarks), I hopped (or, ahem, ran) on a plane with the gorgeous Remi (meeting Mat out there) and headed across the water to discover Ireland...

Now, if there's one thing I always hear living in London when visiting cities such as Paris- it's 'don't you just forget how close we are?! The Eurostar is just SO fast!' When, in all fairness, the 40 minute flight to Dublin was one of the quickest ever, it's kind of silly I haven't thought to visit sooner! Either way, we certainly managed to pack out the few days in both Dublin and Belfast sufficiently well, and if I'm being completely honest with you guys (we're all friends here)- I think the cities homed some of the best food I have ever eaten- I am still dreaming about a certain panini, but more on that soon.
Belfast Discover Ireland ASOS Belfast Discover Ireland ASOS Titanic Belfast Belfast Discover Ireland ASOS Belfast Discover Ireland ASOS Belfast Streets Ticking everything from the Titanic, perfect pizzas, music venues, arty gallery spots and some vintage cocktail tasting (nope, it's not all about Guinness) off of our list- the hours flew by quickly than you could say 'Top of the mornin' to ya!'- and I'm sad we didn't have more time, but at least I have reason to visit again. You can check out the awesome ASOS feature on the site here (and the chance to win a visit too), plus, if you fancy seeing some wee city guides for Dublin and Belfast do let me know- I have so many places to share with you guys, and it'd be a shame to keep them to myself!

and here's what I wore on the trip...
