Marks and Spencer AW13 Outfit Marks and Spencer Multiple Rings Marks and Spencer Red Boots
(Hat: C/O Marks & Spencer, Jacket: Whistles, Bag: Lulu Guinness, Dress: C/O Marks & Spencer, Shoes: C/O Marks & Spencer, Rings: Sujuu, Clarice Price Thomas and Astrid & Miyu, Chronic-Bitch-Face: Models Own)

It's no secret that I'm a pretty big fan of Marks and Sparks. From 9:15am pit-stops to pick up the best chicken, tomato and basil sandwich (pick it up tomorrow, I promise you won't regret it), to their chocolate chunk shortbread (again, if you can, get this) and their perfectly tasteful (in more ways then one) fruit salads- they're my go to for all good food things (and Joe, if you're reading, I love Waitrose too, you know I do).

One part of the store I often cease to browse as much as the bakery, is the women's clothing section. Not because I'm not aware of how much they've progressed in the last few years (and trust me, when I do I'm never disappointed)- it's more that I simply forget. In short- I go to Topshop for clothes, and Marks for food and it's really just a force of habit. I think the fact that their gorgeous pink/baby blue coat that I spotted online has long sold out (read: it sold out in about a day) and since then I've acquired quite the wish list, from their gorgeous check coats to a couple of jumpers I'm sure I'll freeze without. So, when the brand got in touch asking me to check out the new collection, and work a couple of pieces into my wardrobe, it was the most anti-challenge challenge (i.e super easy as everything was pretty gorgeous). With work-to-gig dresses (I wore this dress to see Haim, and felt like I could have almost been a sister, almost) and fedoras and buckle boots galore- I'm certainly going to think twice upon my next sandwich stop.

  11. I do love a bit of M&S, I always get sidetracked by clothes on my way to buy Percy Pigs,I really think they've stepped it up a notch with their lingerie range and the beauty halls which are the two things that really draw me in (alongside the Percy's...) I really love those boots too!

On the fashion side of things I should probably do more shopping with them. I never really bought actual clothing but I swear by their tights! I never buy my tights elsewhere. The ones from M&S last for ages without laddering!

  21. As far as Marks and Spencers have come recently in rebranding their image, its really hard not to see them as an older-lady's shop. Like you I am always pleasantly surprised with the clothes in there when I do stop by (invariably on shoppimg trips with my mum though!). I work in Monsoon and have likewise always associated their clothes with the older lady...but the longer I've been there the more I start to realise its all about HOW you wear the pieces, and they can be style up for any age range

I can vouch for you Olivia, the chocolate chip shortbread are the best but what about their cookie collection? I can talk about M&S food ALL day! Looking beautiful, as always XX
