When I say ethical fashion- you say what? Green tie dyed t shirts? Hemp cargo trousers? T shirts made from the leaves of a Palm tree? Often there's a pretty massive and slightly uncool cliché associated with clothing that's sustainable, but once again H&M have come around with a collection that sets to change the fashion perspective on green clothing and supply a pretty damn good range of guilt free indulgences- all whilst being wearable and up to the minute.

With the stunning Vogue cover girl Vanessa Paradis (the ultimate French babe and singer of my favourite ever 'Joe Le Taxi') as the face of the Conscious Collection 2013, and pieces made from organic cotton, recycled polyester and tencel- it's got fashionable success written all over it. With the collection boasting stunning tropical prints, romantically whimsy maxi dresses, classic bouclé pieces and military inspired play suits- it's safe to say there's enough wardrobe staples in there for everyone.

With the collection launch around the corner, over the next few weeks I'll be styling some of my favourite picks from the collection, mixed with my own vintage pieces, to help put together some inspiration for when the collection lands (so you can impulsively snap it up, and not worry about what it'll go with). Keep your eyes peeled.

Absolutely adoring these picks. And Vanessa Paradis is such a babe, I am going to have to be very restrained not to buy the majority of this collection when it's out!

ReplyDeleteeeee, these look amazing! i can't work out this these are your images or not? they look beautiful either way! and what an awesome opportunity .. p.s i have to say i think this is the first time in a little while my comment hasn't consisted of some ridiculous fan girl moment.. i've practised composing myself before i comment on your perfectness miss purvis!
ReplyDeleteGood to see someone caring about conscious fashion! As my tagline is 'ethical clothing' I often worry about people's perceptions. I think things are definitely turning round and becoming more mainstream (in a good way) as well as sustainable!

ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to this collection - in particular the floral trousers, obsessed with these at the moment! Can't wait to see how you style the pieces. Also love how H&M are coinciding this with a clothes swap - unwanted clothes for H&M vouchers. One bag for £5. Brilliant!
