It seems in the last few weeks, my look of choice has been the chap from the Quaker oats cereal box- if it includes a white shirt and white brimmed house, please- count me in. Hopefully soon my love of millinery will fade and you'll be able to see my head again, but until then outfits will definitely include a daft fedora. On this occasion I opted to team it with this gorgeous tile print dress from In Love With Fashion- which is the most gorgeous shape and has a super lovely tie waist, making it a little different from the many shift shapes I own. But back to business- today was spent exploring the depths of East London, and primarily paying a visit to The Music Circle's Rumble in the Jumble Part 2...

Hosted by the babe that is Gemma Cairney and raising money for abused women in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Oxfam’s Get Together for International Women’s Day- this is a jumble sale to out-jumble any other (and the cause is a-mazing). After arriving just after opening, I dragged Joe inside, donated my bag of jumble and got stuck in- and was SERIOUSLY impressed by what I came across. Seriously. Discovering cast-off gems from the likes of Annie Mac, Tinie Tempah, and Fearne Cotton (and food from Drink Shop Do and the lovely Ms Erskine)- if it was possible to fan-girl at clothing, I definitely did (and I felt a helluva lot better with my impulse buying, knowing it was all going to charadee).

I managed to blag myself Edith Bowman's a-mazing bomber jacket (it may or may not have a Union Jack reversible inside), a book I've been dying to read since the film came out and some J.W Anderson for ALDO shoes- all for under a nifty. It was an absolutely AMAZING event (caps and all)- and I may have even gone home Googled it, and prayed it was a two day event (alas, it is not...) ten pats on the back for you The Music Circle- I look forward to next years! P.S If you couldn't make the event today- buy a raffle ticket! There's some F-A-B prizes up for grabs, you'd be a fooligan not to...
