Another outfit the weather has forced me to snap inside, someone remind me to take an umbrella out more please?

Despite this, I have to say I'm quite enjoying getting all cosy inside in my favourite (now slightly-bobbly) jumper. Despite going into mild panic about initially spending £55 on this COS number- if you work out cost per wear, I think it's now paid for itself, and there is something completely fail safe about a good navy crew neck (definitely the most-middle aged thing I've said to date)...

Plus, there's definitely something about putting on a chunky jumper over a summery dress, nude tights (autumnal cheating at it's very finest) and putting the kettle on, right? It's pretty safe to say I am in love with this Lovestruck dress, and although it's arguably pretty summery, teaming it with the above has made it a pretty safe autumnal choice, and definitely something I'm going to try with the rest of my summer pieces.

How do you make your summer wardrobe last into the colder months? Answers on a postcard!

  9. Looking lovely as ever, Liv! I think £55 is more than reasonable for that jumper, must oh must get down to COS soon, it's been on my to-shop list forever. I often pair floaty dresses with knitted snoods and knitted tights to make them last! (:

but first: yay such a nice and cozy look!the dress's collar looks so good with that jumper (oh my, and cos *.* i have that shop on my wishlist!)

and now..my summer to autumn transition survival kit:
i wear tights with my shorts (okay, no secret tip really, but hey) and basically wear coats and jackets with my things and layer (oh my, i'm not very original, am i :D) and i have more clothes appropriate for autumn than for summer anyway, so i am glad we've reached this lovely season! (oh and it's my bday tomorrow, so that makes autumn even waaaaay cooler!haha)
    God bless you xx
