(Suit: Warehouse, Shirt: Topshop, Shoes: Loaned from Jimmy Choo)

Now, where to begin with this suit. Apart from the fact I am going all Twilight Bella on it (‘uncontrollably and irrevocably in love with it’- not that I know any quotes or anything) it’s probably one of my favourite things in my wardrobe. After seeing it on a shoot a few weeks back, knowing I needed it and inevitably waiting until it had sold out everywhere I became almost desperate (and yet equally indecisive) to buy it- and after finally realising I had the last pair in my size in my ASOS basket it was a given- and I couldn't be more pleased.

Although it’s arguably a little 70’s (I may have seen a suit similar at the Biba exhibition) and the print is certainly more daring when in suit form, I'm already pretty excited to wear it as separates, with casual t shirts, and also channelling the full androgynous look. On this occasion I went full blown pyjama lady, and teamed it with this blouse from Topshop and some clashing courts just to really throw you all off track- despite it not being entirely appropriate attire for this weather (you can all have a chuckle at this out take from the photos if you like...)

How would you wear a printed two piece like this? I'm desperate to be as inventive as I can, and have also seen a gorgeous navy tartan one on the Warehouse website- but I think that's for another time...

  26. I would probably stick to the usual button down underneath way of wearing this suit, but it would be interesting to see a crop top underneath! I think that would be cool for those spring days that are in between warm and cold.

  38. Suit looks stunning on you! You could always layer a vest either under or over the blazer for a different look. Perhaps a faux fur vest or even a tough black leather/shearling vest. Another option is to wear it draped on your shoulders. I suppose these looks will take away slightly from the sameness from head to toe.

Another look that's just come to mind is softening the structured look with a lace or silk cami. I think a poufy ribboned ponytail would look amazing. I love the irony of structure put beside the gentleness and elegance of a lady.

  45. I saw a similar pair of pants at Marks&Spencer the other day and now I really really want to buy them! Printed pants are such a fun way to spice up an otherwise boring autumn outfit!
