Considering most of my outfits consist of some patterned or coloured formation, this is probably one of the most monochrome outfits you will ever see me in. But hey, that's not me complaining! Every now and then, there's something ever so timeless and classic about simply teaming black with white, and building a chic (ish) sixties meets fifties inspired look. I also teamed a somewhat plain look with some cute-as kitty shoes- the perfect way to temporarily put my Charlotte Olympia fixation on hold, and enjoy the feline footwear trend without breaking the bank!

I'd also like to say a HUGE congratulations to everyone that collected their A level and AS results today! This time last year, I was nervously collecting my A Level results, and planning the inevitable IKEA trip to furnish my new university room! Looking at it, I've made more brave decisions this year than I have in my life, and although today made me feel a little sad about not embarking on a university course (and beating myself up a little), I know that having left university and started making my own way into my dream job was, and still is, currently the best thing for me; and the only way to look is forward (cheesy but true...)

  15. I love all of your clothes so much! I want that satchel.
I think its very brave that you didnt go to Uni and set off straight away to try and achieve your dream career. My brother had his results today and had failed everything and was obviously devastated and I have tried to tell him that uni is not the be all!

  29. You look so beautiful Liv!
I saw some of your tweets about Uni etc yesterday. Don't ever feel like a failure for not completing a degree. To be honest, I studied Drama and now work in fashion so sometimes my degree (and my amount debt) feels like a complete waste of time!

You're doing so well through your blog and all these internships - trust me, speaking from experience, interning is the way forward. Took me 2-3 years to of internships to get my dream job but keep at it and you'll get there!

  30. You look so lovely and retro and I looove the song, did you watch the Life on Mars series? Such a good programme. I'm starting to think maybe if I was in the position to be embarking on a degree now maybe I wouldn't, I just think experience is of utmost importance these days and I don't have any and am really struggling to find a job! It sounds like you definitely made the right decision for yourself!

  39. I'd be really interested in reading about your academic/career journey so far. Perhaps you could write a post about your A Levels, uni experience and what you've been up to since? I only ask because I think that I should have dropped out of uni, but I didn't. I mean, I'm glad I finished, but it was a three year struggle really :(
Also, I was wondering if you could possibly post about how you do your hair? it always looks so immaculate. I'd love to be able to beehive.
    So many requests, haha :)
Really enjoy your page, come check mine out if you get the chance.
