(Top: Topshop, Jumper: H&M, Trousers: ASOS, Shoes: Topshop, Bag: C/O Cambridge Satchel Company via Mybag.com)

The first time I spotted similar trousers to these was at my first ever fashion week earlier this year. At House of Holland's show I managed to get a cheeky peek of a certain Miss Chung sporting the infamous J.W Anderson paisley pyjama trousers. Since then I've spotted similar styles from Stella McCartney, Jil Sander, and my pick of the crop- ASOS (the budget was slightly more manageable!) Although when sported on the great British high street there is a tiny tendency for them to be mistaken for bed wear (or jim jams if you like) I am absolutely in love with them, and pretty tempted to invest in the shorts and jacket too. Additionally, they're pretty darn easy to style. Teamed with a shirt and jumper, although it may resemble Madeline or a young school child, certainly makes for a neat and prim look, giving a bit of leeway for accessorising and fun beachy shoes.

This brings me nicely on to the newest addition of my bag collection, my baby Cambridge Satchel (giving my Mulberry a well earned rest from my mass of 'stuff'). Having my eye on the satchels for a while, and after seeing it on Tennessee Thomas and Zooey Deschanel (swoon) I fell a little bit head over heels for their timeless style, meaning you can only image how happy I was when the lovely Clare at Mybag contacted me! So far I've managed to style it with, well...everything- so expect it in some more posts soon, and if you can't wait until then (hoho) pay a visit to the website for some bag candy (a phrase I will rarely use!)

Last but certainly not least, I have some amazing new sponsors living on my sidebar for May, so please pay a visit at these lovely blogs and shops. They put a huge amount of effort in their blogs, so deserve all the recognition they can get. Welcome aboard ladies!

  12. bagbagbag!!! Ahhh, not even ashamed to admit I openly stalk them on twitter (especially to you, I remember our little chat about Alex Turner, ahem) and was so, so jealous of seeing Alexa, Zooey, and Tennessee's cambridge satchels! Reading that back, maybe I look a little bit too enthusiastic, so I'm praying that no one else actually reads this. And I've been meaning to say for ages, thank you for recommending the Quarter, serendipitously I've been there twice in a fortnight and it's been ab fab. You are a BABE xxx
