Yes, you saw correctly, it's THE t shirt. The one I didn't buy at Fashion week back in February, went on a wild goose chase for, couldn't find anywhere- and then found in a 'buy it now' section one Sunday shopping (no 'regret it later' applicable here!) and I'm so glad I got it. I suppose you could say this is my attempt of trying to be patriotic and a little bit 'hip and trendy' (yes, I went there) for the day- (red, white and blue anyone?) I teamed my jeans and tee combo with my new favourite Le Bunny Bleu shoes- a subtle nod to the 'creeper brogues' seen on the high street, but a little less fussy, and perfect for puddle hopping in this typically British weather.

Anyway, I guess this all ties in with what I got up to today (puddles and being patriotic key to the events) when my best friend Gemma and I went to my local town to see the Queen! Yes, Lizzie, HRH, Your Majesty! After waking up at the unholy hour of 5:30, we managed to arrive about 7:30 in time for a Starbucks and 3 hours of soggy waiting. However, saying this, I am SO glad I waited around, as managing to get that close to the lady who makes buying stamps so much cooler was the most surreal and wonderful thing ever- and my goodness, she is so sparkly! Even at 86 her skin is amazing- I can tell a million ladies would kill for her secret! She also spoke to all the children that had waited and bought her flowers, so nice! I feel so lucky to have seen her in person, and certainly won't forget it in a hurry!
x
p.s I couldn't spot the shoes on the website, but they have a new store at Westfield Stratford- which has a huge collection and is certainly worth a visit!
