When it comes to birthdays, I am both the easiest and most difficult person to buy for. Easiest, as I can walk into a shop and say 'Oooh, I LOVE that' to about 98% of what's for sale, difficult because it doesn't really give people any particular ideas. So, with a bit of spare time and a birthday mere weeks away, I thought I'd comprise a list of my absolute favourite things on the high street and online, including some absolutely beautiful dresses , a go-to fragrance and a bag that I can't get enough of...

(1, 2, & 3. Topshop, 4. Vero Moda, 5. Peyton and Byrne, 6. Monki, 7. Boots, 8. Mybag.com )
...and these are my picks! I think my love for printed trousers meant that there simply had to be a pair somewhere in here, and i think these fit the criteria pretty well! I think they'd look gorgeous with my Swedish Hasbeens, a sleeveless white shirt, a lick of red lipstick and some cat eye sunnies - perfect! Topshop also have an absolutely amazing offering of dresses at the moment. I adore the cream one (imagine it with a cool biker...) and love the heart pocket red one, a little like this Vivetta one I posted about on Twitter earlier this week. I also love this Tennis inspired dress from Vero Moda and the oversized printed shift from Monki. This may or may not have something to do with the fact Alexa Chung modelled the Vero Moda number, but either way it's pretty darn lovely. Additionally, I love the Monki dress- would be lovely with a jacket and Chelsea boots- swoon!
My other picks include a Peyton & Byrne Best of British cookbook, my favourite ever fragrance in it's brand new bottle (I collect them!) and the exclusive mint green Cambridge Satchel for Mybag.com, which I fear may be sold out by my birthday- but is definitely eye candy at it's finest! Looks almost good enough to eat...
