(Dress: Dahlia, Shoes: eBay, Belt:Vintage, Lipstick: Mischief by Topshop)
If there's one blogger who has one of the most confident and enviable senses of personal style I can think of it's Vicki- I don't think I've seen one post of hers where I haven't wished 'damn! why didn't I style it like that?!' and each and every outfit is totally fun, unique and more importantly- wearable.
So, when Vicki and I got chatting on Twitter just before Christmas, both having been very kindly gifted some gorgeous dresses from Dahlia, and both already posted about them, we had a idea! Why don't we swap our dresses and (corny as it may sound) mix it up a bit? It would be an awesome way of getting more ideas of how to wear one item, plus a nice way to wear something new, and let's be honest what girl doesn't like wearing a new dress?
Although I was perhaps a little conservative on this occasion- I teamed the dress with some black tights, red lippy and a slick of red lipstick- I was tempted to layer with a bright jumper, but knew it would take the beauty of the detail away. However, I love love love how Vicki has styled the dress, adding her trademark pop of colour and awesome red hair- I am still envious! To see how Vicki styled my dress (shown in full here) head over to her blog, and if you don't already hit the follow button- you certainly won't be disappointed.
