After having them sitting on my lovely sidebar throughout December, and again this month, the gorgeous Kimberly, very kindly gifted me this gorgeous dress from her equally beautiful shop, Ever Ours. Also having recently seen it on Michelle's blog, I absolutely fell in love with this dress. With bows, lace and heart print is is quite obviously the most typically girly dress I own, but with the help of my trusty new biker jacket (and some cutesty kitty shoes), I think the ratio of girliness has been balanced out. I wore this to work yesterday, and didn't realise it's probably more of a tunic than a dress, so layered it with a black body con number to try and retain some of my modesty!
Anyway, I hope you're all having a lovely week so far. So far my placement is going really well, thanks to everyone that has asked! I'm loving the whole magazine experience, and it's making me even more determined in actually getting somewhere with everything. However, working so very close to Oxford Street is proving slightly problematic. Having Topshop a stones throw away from my path whilst exiting the tube every morning is not great, and this morning resulted in a twenty-past nine shopping trip... never again! For the rest of this month I vow not to purchase another thing and just appreciate what I have!

Such a cute outfit I love it! xo
ReplyDeleteI almost bought this dress but went for the lace one instead! Love all of Kim's stuff though! And this looks fab on you (of course) xx
ReplyDeleteHaha, i was at Oxford st Topshop at 10 this morn, It's always nice and quiet then.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable here, love the combination of the edgy jacket and feminine frills.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that working so near to shops is bad for the wallet; my clothing budget is so much better now that I'm no longer working in a shopping centre and nipping into Topshop every lunch break!
