*Now, if all goes according to plan, and my inner techno wizard shines through, this scheduled post will publish when I am on the train to Liverpool about to move in- so it's probably best this is scheduled, I'm probably a nervous wreck at present!*
Anyway, I bought these jeans on Thursday whilst hitting Covent Garden with the very stylish Nanny P, and to be perfectly fair I couldn't quite believe I'd finally found a pair that fitted! After buying Pippa jeans from Topshop several years ago, and them fortunately seeing me through til now, they'd been my favourite pair. However, Topshop had to go and discontinue them, making softer 'Jamie' jeans instead- a jean that, put it this way, makes my legs resemble that of a rugby player in tight jeans, not the look I'm after on this occasion! After venturing into Whistles to admire the beautifully cut blouses and sharp suits I noticed a table of jeans, and by chance picked up this gorgeous berry pair to try on, and well- the rest is history! They're not too tight, and I know I'll get a lot of use out of them in the coming months!
Have you bought any winter staples lately? Found any amazing jeans?
x

i've been looking for plum jeans too...as well as dark green or mustard yellow ones- any suggestions? the ones at hm/berskha are too long in length as i'm only 5ft1"...also on my wishlist are a super soft cashmere jumper (when i can afford it) and a leather jacket to see me thru winter X
ReplyDeleteI find it absolutely impossible to find jeans that fit me, but these ones look lovely on you :)

ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move Oliva, hope it is going well. You will be settled in, in no time!
ReplyDeleteI love the plum coloured jeans, I brought a pair from Primark (where else!!) and am unsure what to wear with them! I just wear a cream lace blouse as I need a long top to cover my bum! Might invest in a striped top now I have seen how you have styled them. Looks fab!

I love your jeans, they are such a lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteAnd good luck with moving in, I hope it all goes well.
The jeans are a really nice colour, I tried some on that were quite similar in New Look a few weeks ago but their sizing is a bit skiwiff and they were insanely baggy despite being skinnies.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with the move!!

these are gorgeous, love the colour! Topshop does some similar ones (the "Baxter") but I don't find them skinny enough, or maybe it's because I'm a shortie! Love the classic outfit anyway :) x
